Following a suggestion from the sister of great awesomeness, I am adding excerpts from a story to help explain some of my costume designs.

The only problem is that the story I'm drawing from isn't finished. It's currently in a cycle of "make design, add more to story to justify design, add more design to illustrate part of story, add more story to justify design....etc."

For that matter, it isn't actually a story at the moment. It's a crazy long exposition piece, and I'm ok with that.

Hopefully this cycle will resolve itself someday, and I'll post it in the gallery. Till then, when some design already has a bit of story devoted to it, I'll include it in the notes.

But don't get your hopes up: I'm not trying to write a story here, just an obsessively long mental image that won't go away. Or stop looking so very, very fabulous.

So, I suck at drawing.

Truth be told I've had almost no practice - I was never really taught to do cool things like draw or sculpt. Normally this isn't much of a problem: I just grab copyright-free images online, and slap 'em where needed.

But here, I feel I need something better for an avatar. True, I have a fairly nifty avatar made by her Kiddoness...but it's not really an all-purpose job.

So I put for the following request:

If you have talent, think on the lowly Me. The lover of art, who lacks any real talent in drawing. She who sews pretty things, cuddles with puppies, talks to ravens...and makes yummy cookies.

Please?
